There are so many different ways to play spades. These are the in-person tournament house rules for Black Belt Spades.
AKA Joker-Joker-Deuce-Ace: Big Joker, Little Joker, 2 of Spades, Ace of Spades are the four top spades.
- The red deuces — 2♦ and 2♥ — are removed from the deck.
- The 2♣ is the lowest club in the deck.
- Trump order (high → low): Big Joker, Little Joker, 2♠, then A♠ down to 3♠.
